To have light in your life, you must stand where the light is shining.

Naira Santana

I was named after the hostel "Peña Naira" in Bolivia, during a hitchhiking adventure my parents took on. My mother found out she was pregnant during the trip and she fell in love with the name.

My entrance to this world occurred on an October  spring day in Santiago, Chile in 1971 (yes, spring in October for the southern hemisphere). During the neon eighties I lived in Miami Beach, Florida, where I learnt, among other things, to speak English.  I immigrated to Canada in 1988 and I have since called Montreal home . As a typical Montrealer, I am proud to say I speak Spanish, English and French.

I received my certification as a Personal and Professional  Certified Coach from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.  I am passionate about the possibilities that coaching creates in people's lives. During my own life journey I had the opportunity to work with a coach, who shed the light that enabled me to be the creator of my own life. This experience continues to give fruits that I cherish and rejoice in. I was so inspired by this partnership that it became clear to me that I wanted to be a light for others.
